The volume of oilseeds export for this period amounted to US$ 1.3 billion, export of soybean and rapeseed is valued at US$ 0.6 billion. Foreign supplies of sunflower oil brought US$ 3.2 billion to the exporters.

The largest buyers of Ukrainian grain in January-September 2017 were the countries of Africa, Asia and Europe.

The leading position among the largest importers of Ukrainian grain for several consecutive years is held by Egypt, whose share in the total export is 14.5%.

"Significant shares in the Ukrainian grain exports accounted for Spain (7.8%), the Netherlands (7.1%), China (6.6%), Saudi Arabia (5.2%) Italy and India (5.0% ). Taking into account the shares of Bangladesh (4.4%) and Israel (4.3%), all these countries accumulated about 60% of the cost of grain exports," the expert says.

Turkey (14.2%), the Netherlands (11.2%), Germany (10.9%), Iran (9.1%), Belgium (8.8%), Egypt (7.4% ) and Pakistan (5.5%) are the largest buyers of oilseeds. Together they form 2/3 of exporters' income.
